Doctors Hospital Family Medicine

Doctors Hospital Family Medicine (also known as Doctors Hospital Family Practice, or DHFP) has been around for over 40 years. We were founded under the wings of an osteopathic training institution and have moved through decades of change in the medical world and in the hospital system. Our program was originally based at a location within the center of Columbus, in an area called the Short North. Over a decade ago, the clinic was moved to a Southwest suburb of Columbus known as Grove City, OH. We serve patients from the surrounding rural, suburban, and urban communities.

Originally an osteopathic training program with AOA accreditation, we have since transitioned to ACGME accreditation with Osteopathic Recognition. We are proud of our osteopathic heritage and continue to find ways to innovate in osteopathic education. Our curriculum continues to evolve to meet the needs of our residents and to provide the best care for our patients. We focus on developing well-rounded family physicians who excel in the ambulatory setting. We collaborate with physicians and institutions within the Greater Columbus area to ensure that our residents get the highest quality educational experiences.
