Mission


OhioHealth/Doctors Hospital Family Medicine’s mission is to serve the community by empowering family physicians to provide affordable, accessible, and high-quality healthcare for all.

Aims


  1. To compassionately guide patients to better health, encompassing the mind, body, and spiritual aspects of care using an osteopathically focused approach.  

  2. To become skilled providers of ambulatory care by fostering excellence in education, delivering an optimal patient healthcare experience, and promoting stewardship of healthcare resources. 

  3. To honor the dignity and worth of each person.  

  4. To help patients navigate a complex healthcare system and improve their health through partnership with an interdisciplinary team. 

  5. To identify systematic challenges and healthcare disparities and create ways to engage and improve the health of under-resourced communities.  

  6. To embrace inclusivity of all people served by the program, reflect the community diversity in employment and recruitment, and derive strength from the differences of individuals.
