Mission

OhioHealth/Doctors Hospital Family Medicine’s mission is to holistically serve the community by empowering family physicians to provide affordable, accessible, and high-quality healthcare for all.

Aims

1.       To compassionately guide patients to better health, encompassing the mind, body, and spiritual aspects of care using an osteopathically focused approach. 

2.       To be skilled providers of holistic ambulatory care guided by osteopathic principles and practice, fostering excellence in education, optimal patient healthcare experience, and stewardship of healthcare resources.

3.       To honor the dignity and worth of each person. 

4.       To help patients navigate a complex healthcare system and improve their health through partnership with an interdisciplinary team.

5.       To identify systematic challenges and healthcare disparities and create ways to engage and improve the health of under-resourced communities.
