Tara Andrade, DO (SHE/Her)

Medical School: California Health Sciences University College of Osteopathic Medicine

Reasons for Training at DHFM: I love DHFM because of the strong osteopathic curriculum, the emphasis on wellness of residents and flexible curriculum that allows residents to pursue their individual interests.

Medical Interests: Women’s health, obstetrics, OMT, and newborn care.

Danielle Barnes, MD (SHe/Her)

Medical School: University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences

Reasons for Training at DHFM: My interests in primary care and sports medicine align well with the strengths of the program.

Interests outside of medicine: I love all things cinema, live music, rock climbing, skiing, paddle-boarding, hiking, and kayaking. I love spending time with my four siblings and fantastic group of friends.

Juli Capo, DO (SHE/HER)

Medical School: Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine- Erie

Reasons for Training at DHFM: I chose DHFM because I've been where a lot of patients find themselves-- in pain and running out of options. I went to a DO school where I figured out that OMT nearly eliminated my pain. Not all patients are that lucky, so I'm extremely passionate about increasing access to OMT. I wanted an FM program that valued osteopathy in everyday care, and a program that emphasized supporting residents as people. DHFM was both!

Kayla Corsini, DO (SHE/HER)

Medical School: Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine

Reasons for Training at DHFM: I choose family medicine because throughout medical school I had many medical interests, and I felt that family medicine was the one specialty that would allow me to bring all of those interests together. DHFM stood out to me due to the supportive nature of the program- the positive environment and investment into resident well-being and learning was incredibly apparent. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, hot yoga, lifting weights, reading fantasy novels, and long boarding around Columbus.
